What We Do at In Sync Therapy Hub
At In Sync Therapy Hub®, we believe that when a child’s sensory and motor systems are "in sync," they are free to explore, learn, and thrive. Our clinic is designed to be a place where evidence-based therapy meets the joy of play.
Occupational Therapy
Our OTs focus on the "jobs of childhood"—play, learning, self-care, and social connection. Using a sensory integration approach, we support children to develop the fine motor skills, emotional regulation, and cognitive flexibility needed to navigate daily life with confidence.
- Daily Living Skills: Support with dressing, grooming, and independence.
- Fine Motor & Handwriting: Strengthening the hands for school-based tasks.
- Social-Emotional Learning: Developing the tools to understand and manage big feelings.
- Sensory Processing & Regulation: Helping children better understand and respond to sensory input.
Paediatric Physiotherapy
Our Physiotherapists specialize in the science of movement. Whether a child is working toward their very first steps or refining high-level coordination, we focus on building a strong physical foundation.
- Gross Motor Milestones: Support for rolling, crawling, and walking.
- Neuro-Physiotherapy: Specialized care for children with neurological presentations using NDT and Bobath principles.
- Strength & Endurance: Improving muscle tone, balance, and physical confidence.
Ayres Sensory Integration® (ASI)
We are specialists in Sensory Integration. Many children experience the world too loudly, too brightly, or in a way that feels "unsteady." Using the gold-standard ASI approach, we help the brain better process and organize sensory information from the body and the environment. By challenging the sensory system in a controlled, playful way, we help children move from a state of overwhelm to a state of calm, focused engagement.
Our Specialist Facilities & Equipment
Step into a world built for progress. Our clinic isn’t just a gym; it’s a therapeutic tool designed to provide the specific "just-right" challenges your child needs.
The Sensory Gym
- Custom Suspension Systems: Swings (bolster, platform, lycra) targeting the vestibular system.
- Intensive Therapy Tools: Dedicated equipment like DMI tools and Pediasuit.
- Multi-Sensory Zones: Deep pressure and tactile exploration areas.
Early Intervention
The first three years are a special time for growth and connection. Our Early Intervention team partners with families to support feeding, regulation, and early development, with a strong focus on sensory integration and understanding your baby’s individual needs. We gently guide and empower you with the knowledge and tools to support your child’s nervous system from day one.
Complex Needs
We have extensive experience supporting children with complex medical, physical, and neurological needs, including those with rare genetic conditions, Cerebral Palsy, or multiple diagnoses. We take a whole-child approach, working closely with families to ensure equipment, positioning, and therapy goals all come together to best support your child.
Collaborative Care & Intensives
At In Sync Therapy Hub, we don't work in isolated therapy. Because a child’s physical, sensory, and emotional worlds are deeply connected, our team works as a single, united support system around your family.
- Interdisciplinary Assessments & Sessions: Reviews involving both OT and Physio.
- Educational Observation & Consultation: We observe your child in their natural environment to provide practical tools.
- Holiday Intensives: Therapy blocks designed to kickstart progress.
- Clinic Based Therapy Services: From 1:1 OT and Physio to fun developmental and themed group programs.
- Parental Partnership: Therapy is only a few hours a week, but parenting is 24/7. You are the most important member of our team. We don’t just "work on" your child; we work with you to ensure progress continues long after you leave our clinic.
Our Philosophy
We believe that when a child's sensory and motor systems are 'in sync,' they are free to explore, discover and thrive. Our philosophy is built on the foundation of compassionate, clinical expertise and the transformative power of play. We are dedicated to providing child-centered, evidence-based therapy that respects each child's individual nervous system and empowers parents with the tools to support progress outside the clinic.
