Payment Options for Initial Assessments
We understand that initial assessments are a significant step in your child's journey. To support our families, these assessments can be paid via an individual arrangement in manageable installments; however, please note that payment must be made in full before the assessment takes place. We are happy to discuss a schedule that works for your specific needs—please contact our team at welcome@insynckidsot.com to set this up prior to your visit.

Medicare Funding Pathways
Mental Health Care Plan
Access support for mental health and emotional regulation.
The Details
- Up to 10 individual sessions per year
- Up to 10 group sessions per year
- Referred in stages (6 + 4 sessions)
- Must see an Accredited Mental Health OT
- Rebate Code: 80135 (~$85 – $145)
The Process
- Visit your GP for eligibility check
- GP prepares the MHC Plan
- Obtain the referral letter
- Provide referral to In Sync before visit
Compliance
Progress reports provided to your GP after session 6 and 10.
Chronic
Condition (CDM)
For chronic conditions lasting 6 months or longer.
The Details
- Up to 5 allied health sessions per year
- Shared across therapy types (OT, Physio and more)
- No previous diagnosis is required
- Rebate Code: 10958 (~$60)
The Process
- Visit GP for eligibility check
- GP prepares the CDM Plan
- Obtain referral nominating our clinic
- Provide plan and referral before visit
Compliance
Reports provided after session 1 and session 5 to coordinate care.
Neurodevelopmental Pathway
Pathway for developmental delay and complex neurodevelopmental conditions.
The Details
- Up to 20 lifetime treatment sessions (OT, Physio and more)
- Referred in courses of up to 10 sessions
- No previous diagnosis is required
- Rebate Code: 82025 (~$85 – $95)
The Process
- Appointment with Paediatrician or Psychiatrist
- Specialist completes a treatment plan
- Obtain written referral to our clinic
- Provide plan and referral before therapy
Compliance
Written reports provided after each course of treatment.

Private Health Insurance & Extras Cover
Many private health insurance policies include 'Extras' cover for allied health services like Occupational Therapy and Psychology. Coverage and rebates depend on the individual’s specific insurer and policy level.
On-the-spot claiming with Tyro
- We use the Tyro HealthPoint system to provide on-the-spot claiming at the time of the appointment/providing a secure payment link.
- The health fund rebate is processed immediately, meaning you only pay the Gap Fee.
- If a fund doesn't support instant claiming, we provide a full receipt for manual submission.
Parent coaching & fund claiming
- Therapy at In Sync Therapy Hub® often includes Parent Coaching and education to help strategies stick at home.
- Depending on the policy, a session may sometimes be split—claiming a portion under the child’s therapy rebate and a portion under the parent’s benefits (where eligible).
- Encourage families to check with their insurer if their policy supports Parent Coaching or Family Education claims.

How do I claim a Medicare rebate?
We can process the Medicare claim on your behalf once the invoice is paid in full. The rebate will go to your registered bank account usually 24-48 hours.
Can I use NDIS funding at your clinic?
Yes, as a registered NDIS provider we support Self-Managed, Plan-Managed and NDIA participants. We focus on neurodiversity-affirming care that aligns specifically with your child's NDIS plan goals.
Do you offer HICAPS for private health?
We have HICAPS facilities on-site for immediate claims. This allows you to claim your rebate instantly at the clinic, leaving only the remaining gap amount to be paid at the time of your appointment.
Is my child eligible for multiple funding types?
Eligibility is determined by your GP, pediatrician or insurer. While you can often access different schemes, they usually cannot be claimed for the same individual session. We recommend checking with your providers.
